It’s been six months since I moved to Sarasota, and I wanted to share that you can now find my short story collection, Nine Stray Shots, at the wonderful local bookshop Bookstore1Sarasota.

I love that place—it always hosts engaging events and even has a dedicated section for books in Spanish. I recently read some poems from my poetry book La balsa malograda there

Published in 2023, Nine Stray Shots is a collection of nine short stories that explore the absurdity of everyday life, where reality quietly bends and begins to unravel. These stories follow couples drifting apart, relationships gone awry, lost souls navigating unfamiliar landscapes, countries that don’t exist, and shortcuts that lead to unexpected dead ends.
