Just a few weeks ago, I moved to the United States with my wife to embark on a cultural project that brings together some of my greatest passions: photography, literature, and art, with the aim of connecting people through culture and heritage.
In addition to writing fiction books, in Venezuela I developed projects related to cultural heritage, and during my time in Mexico, I explored urban culture through photography. Now, as I begin this new chapter here in the United States, this project will also be my way of being here, understanding the culture, and sharing my perspective with others.
The project will grow, new elements or sections will be integrated, and some may be left behind. I would like to slowly involve more people, but everything in its time.

Welcome to The Present Tense — a space to explore diverse forms of art, cultural heritage, and the voices of contemporary creators.
